The exhibition is an opportunity to reconstruct the Parisian environment in which Toulouse-Lautrec operated, comparing him with realists, impressionists, and symbolists, but above all, it becomes a stage for his highly innovative art, going beyond the approach that often reduces Toulouse-Lautrec to a creator of posters, focusing on his activity as a painter, with paintings, pastels, and drawings from important American, European, and French museums.
